"Recycling starts with education and my time here was spent learning, marketing and appreciating environmental heroes of Houston. This position gave me pride for where I live and the knowledge to continue working on making it better. After everything I have learned, I plan to contribute regularly in the future."
Jenny, Social Media & Marketing Intern, Summer 2016
"I came out of the internship more familiar with social media campaigns as well as specific platforms such as Weebly and Constant Contact. It’s so great to see that my input is really taken into consideration by the staff, and through my efforts, I’m actually helping to make an impact. It’s a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community while learning something new!"
Maricela, Social Media & Marketing Intern, Summer 2016
University of Houston
"In the annual report, I had the freedom to create different visuals and put together the number of companies that volunteer in the cleanups. The staff is amazing here and they will guide you on anything you need to learn about the company. The internship was very flexible with my work schedule and I was able to balance other commitments...a wonderful experience to me and I learned so much from it."
