Keep Houston Beautiful Day is held annually as part of the Great American Cleanup on the first Saturday in April. To organize an event in your neighborhood check out our helpful coordinator materials and register for free cleanup supplies at www.houstonbeautiful.org. Don't Mess with Texas has been educating Texans about litter prevention since 1986. TxDOT‘s litter prevention program includes Adopt-a-Highway and a grassroots partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful. For more information, visit www.txdot.gov.

October 14, 2017: TWELVE REASONS AUCTION
Twelve Reasons by April Murphy Auction on October 14, 2017. Artist April Murphy has created 12 monthly paintings for Keep Houston Beautiful. Each month, she has featured a creature that is indigenous to the Houston area. These paintings are full of references that teach us about the animal and its' traits, habits, etc. April notes that 100% of funds raised for this auction will support Keep Houston Beautiful. The event is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Winter Street Studios, located at 2101 Winter Street.

November 13, 2017: Mayor's proud partner luncheon

The Mayor’s Proud Partner Luncheon will be held on Monday, November 13th at the Marriott Marquis Downtown from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. The Outstanding Proud Partner to be honored this year is the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and we hope to see all of you in your best COUGAR RED at the luncheon.
